Robust Nitrided M2 Negative Rake Scraper - Unhandled

The Robust 1” Negative Rake Scraper is an ideal all-around scraper that prevents dig-ins and offers a non-aggressive cutting action for confidence and total control. The negative rake angle produces a clean cut on complex materials like burl, fiddle-back, and high-figured areas. The sweeping cutting profile of the tool makes it the perfect choice for making fine finishing and sweeping cuts on bowls, platters, and more. Radiused corners on the underside of the tool allow you to tip it at an angle for shear scraping, too.

Made from heat-treated M2 High-Speed steel that is “Nitrided” using carbon and nitrogen to significantly increase wear resistance. If, over time, you find reshaping the tool necessary, no worries, as the premium heat-treated M2 high-speed steel beneath the nitrided surface will continue to provide superior performance.
