The Mid-Size Easy Rougher makes rough turning bowls to shape quick and easy. Unlike traditional bowl gouges that can be difficult to control when shaping an out-of-round blank, the Mid-Size Easy Rougher is designed to direct the cutting pressure downward through the lathe so your lathe "takes a beating" for you.

To use, simply hold the Mid-Size Easy Rougher in a horizontal position with the cutter aligned with the center of the work piece and cut away, it’s that easy! There’s no need to sharpen, simply rotate the cutter to expose a fresh cutting edge as needed and replace when dull. Includes premium Ci2 SQ square carbide cutter, mounting screw and wrench and instructions. Made in USA.
